Scripture
Scripture reminds us:
“And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together…”
— Hebrews 10:24–25 (NASB 1995)
What Jesus Is Teaching
Jesus formed disciples in community, not isolation. He walked closely with others, teaching, encouraging, and shaping them through shared life.
Discipleship grows through relationships where believers support and challenge one another toward faithfulness.
God often uses others to strengthen our faith and help us persevere.
Why This Matters for Discipleship
Isolation can quietly slow spiritual growth, while encouragement and accountability help faith take root.
Walking with others provides perspective, prayer support, and mutual encouragement. Discipleship becomes richer and more sustainable when shared.
We are formed together as the body of Christ.
Walking It Out
Reach out to one person today.
Ask:
Who can I walk with more intentionally in my faith?
Start a spiritual conversation, share what God is teaching you, or ask someone to pray with you.
Take one step toward deeper connection.
Reflect & Respond
- Who currently encourages your spiritual growth?
- Where might you need support or accountability?
- Who could you encourage today?
Prayer
Father, thank You for placing me in a community of believers. Lead me into relationships that strengthen faith and reflect Your love. Help me walk alongside others with humility and encouragement. Amen.
