For Pastors & Ministry Leaders
You Shepherd Others. Who’s Discipling You?
Every pastor and ministry leader carries real weight — preaching, counseling, leading, praying for people by name. Scripture never assumes a leader can carry that alone. Discipling Unfolded exists to walk with you the same way we walk with anyone else: relationally, intentionally, toward greater faithfulness to Jesus Christ.
The Question Every Leader Deserves to Be Asked
Who Is Discipling the Disciple-Maker?
Paul didn’t only tell Timothy to teach others — he discipled Timothy first, a leader himself, and told him to entrust what he’d received to other faithful men who would do the same (2 Timothy 2:2). Disciple-making was never meant to skip the people already leading. It was meant to reach them too.
Most leaders spend their time pouring into everyone else and rarely have someone pouring into them. Hebrews 13:17 says leaders will give an account for the souls they watch over — a weight worth carrying alongside someone, not alone.
What We Walk With Leaders Toward
Six Commitments for Every Leader We Walk With
Faithful Stewardship
You steward people, truth, and trust that were never yours to begin with (1 Corinthians 4:1–2). Faithfulness, not results, is what you’ll answer for.
Shepherding God’s People
Feed the flock among you, not lording it over them but leading by example (1 Peter 5:2–3) — and being shepherded yourself along the way.
Preserving Sound Teaching
Guard the good deposit entrusted to you (2 Timothy 1:14) and hold firm to the trustworthy word (Titus 1:9) — even as it takes new forms.
Equipping Future Leaders
Equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11–12); entrust what you’ve received to faithful men able to teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
Multiplication
Healthy leaders reproduce healthy leaders. The goal was never one generation — it’s faithful generations, the way Paul reached Timothy, who would reach others (2 Timothy 2:2).
Leaving a Faithful Legacy
Fight the good fight, finish the race, keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7) — and leave behind people who will do the same for the generation after them.
Our Conviction
“When people learn to follow Jesus faithfully, lives change. When lives change, families change. When families change, communities change.”
That includes you. A faithfully discipled leader doesn’t just lead better — the faithfulness reaches everyone that leader leads.
Let’s Walk Together
If you’re a pastor or ministry leader who could use someone walking alongside you the way you walk alongside others, we’d love to talk. This isn’t a program to sell you — it’s the same relational discipleship we offer anyone.
