What if discipleship is more than just believing the right things?
When Jesus began calling His first followers, Scripture says:
“And He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’”
— Matthew 4:19 (NASB 1995)
Jesus wasn’t inviting people to attend an event.
He was inviting them into a way of life.
Discipleship means:
Learning from and following Jesus.
Becoming like and being transformed by Jesus.
Doing the kingdom work that Jesus did.
It’s not information.
It’s imitation.
Many of us know about Jesus.
But are we intentionally following Him?
Today, pause and ask:
“Jesus, what does following You look like in my life right now?”
If you’d like to explore what following Jesus really means in everyday life, we’re walking through a 7-day introduction to discipleship together.
