1 Peter 5:8 says,
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
The enemy is real, he’s active, and he wants to take you out. He’s not interested in coexisting. He’s prowling, hunting, looking for an opportunity to devour you.
He’ll attack where you’re weak. He’ll exploit your blind spots. He’ll use discouragement, temptation, division, deception. And if you’re not alert, if you’re not sober-minded, if you’re not on guard, he will get you.
But here’s the good news: You’re not fighting alone. The Spirit of God lives in you. The Word of God equips you. The armor of God protects you. And the blood of Christ has already defeated Satan.
You fight from victory, not for victory. Stay alert. Stay armed. Stay strong.
