Luke 16:10 says,
“He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.”
You want big opportunities. You want to do something significant for God. You want a platform, influence, impact.
But God says, start small. Be faithful in the little things. Because if you can’t be trusted with small things, why would He trust you with big things?
Do you show up on time? Do you follow through on commitments? Do you serve even when no one’s watching? Do you handle money wisely? Do you keep your word?
The small things reveal your character. And character is what qualifies you for greater responsibility.
Identify one “small thing” you’ve been neglecting or doing halfway. Maybe it’s keeping your word, being on time, managing your money, or serving faithfully in a small role. This week, be faithful in that small thing. Do it with excellence, as unto the Lord.
